Happy U.S. Thanksgiving!

We had a fabulous trip down to the states this past week. We started our drive at 7:30pm on Tuesday night. Ryan was post call and had had a crazy day of scopes, but we didn't want to wait to drive all day Wednesday. Anyway, to make a long story short the kids slept for a few hours, Ryan drove, I tried to drive but slept-yikes, and the kids kept waking up every few hours! So needless to say we had a long night and showed up at my parents at 5:30am. Luckily the kids were tired and slept in with me until 9:30 and Ryan until 2pm! Wow! He has never done that.

My Mom hosted a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at her house. All of the my siblings were there! That hasn't happened for quite some time. Congratulations to Pace and Ashley with there little Terak and to Scot and Becky with their new baby Denton! How nice it is to see other people supplying the grandchildren! My Mom, Gina, and I had a great time standing in line at my favorite store "Bath and Body Works" to get wall flowers and soaps for Christmas presents. Ryan is thrilled with his pearl of a deal 42" panasonic plasma screen television! Thank you to Diego for standing in line all night and only dragging Ryan out at 3:5oam.
Tyson's said his favorite part was playing at Dante's house with his speedy cars. Brayden was happy to meet up with his girlfriend from University of Utah village, Rachel Saxey. We were able to see the Little's, Saxey's, and Martin's from Medical School days. Thanks for hosting us on short notice Jameson and Charissa! Colby and Brooklyn were just happy to have us all together and since the trip have decided that napping in the middle of the day is great! They have started to ask me to let them lay down again! Yippee!

We walked around temple square a bit, but didn't get to see the Christmas lights. Sigh! Maybe next year.

We were really excited to visit Spencer and Molly Richards in Bountiful with their five absolutely so well behaved children! I can't believe Molly does so well with those twins at 6 months... actually, I lied I can believe it! She has always been an amazing Mom so the twins didn't do much to stump her. Here is a picture of the eight of the nine kids (Tyson was sleeping upstairs) under the age of 6! (By the way we were very happy with the results of the exciting BYU football game, and the basketball game was fun too despite the loss).
Ryan was able to use his new camera to take some pictures up Logan Canyon. Mel has been enjoying photography over the past few years and taught Ryan a few things while he was with him. Here are a couple pictures he took. So now that you are totally bored I will just add pictures and hopefully I don't leave anyone out!

Oh ya! I met up with some gals from highschool-Rose, Dana, Heidi, Jamie, and Shannon (sorry I don't know all your last names! Isn't that sad?) We haven't seen each other in a long time and it was great fun. Hopefully we can get together for some basketball sometime. While we were eating our basketball coach (Hall) came in and Mike Stenberg who used to take our team pictures! Kinda fun!

Okay, enough for now because it is past my bed time. More later-
