Ryan had some guys over for a meeting tonight and one of them is a heavy duty mechanic. He was surprised that I was still up working on things around the house. I told them to get their meeting over with so they could help me with projects.
Kyle said, "I'm going home to bed. I have been doing physical labor all day."
And I responded, "What do you think I do all day?"
Can you believe he had the nerve to say, "Nothing. You're just a mom."
Luckily I know him pretty well so I didn't choose to be offended BUT ... I do think that motherhood is completely under rated! I couldn't be happier with how run down I feel by being a mother. My thought for today is-Anyone out there that would like to take on my job for a week and tell me that a mother does nothing let me know and you can have a shot!
*The only stipulations are you have to love the kids unconditionally, keep the house in order, make the meals, take care of the yard, do the laundry, do your homework, help with renovations, get the kids to and from school, pay the bills, potty train the twins, and keep smiling through it all! There is more, but I am pretty sure that I wouldn't have any callers!

Amen, Sister! I feel the same way you do. It sure has it's long days, but it is sooo worth it. Motherhood, is by far, the MOST challenging but rewarding job I have ever signed up for! :) -Amanda
Tonya! So HAPPY you have a blog... it will be great to keep in touch this way! Sounds like Halloween was a blast... and GREAT costumes! But what do I know... I am just a mother :)
