Halloween, Halloween, Trick or Treat!

Last weekend my great friend Connie and I had a Halloween scavenger hunt and social. We sent out anonymous invitation from Wanda and Zelda Witch then had people RSVP. Once everyone replied to our email address we made up teams and met at the church parking lot the night of the party. We split up and raced around town looking for ingredients for witches brew. The last place we met was an old cabin where we all enjoyed hot chocolate, donuts, and a warm fire and then we let them know who set up the party. It really turned out to be a lot of fun! I think we had about 15 couples from all the different wards. If you are interested in having a fun party next year here is where we got the idea:

ANYWAY...
The kids and I were so happy that Ryan came home just in time to take us out trick-or-treating! We went to the ER and the clinic to visit Ryan and to get some treat from the staff. They were so generous to the kids-thanks-I think!?

The evening was perfect for walking around the block! We have usually had a snow fall by this time of the month. The past few days have still been t-shirt weather. After only a few houses my kids bags were overflowing!

Tyson wanted to be a white ghost this year! Thanks for making all the cute costumes, Mom!
Mummy Brayden made that cute pumpkin at school (paper mache), but it was way too small for the amount of treats he ended up with. He had to go to his second bag pretty quickly. (Oh, and my Mom made two mummies for Brayden! She was here the weekend after conference and sewed all their outfits. Brayden has said something about his first Mummy not being shiny and so when she went home she made a new one and mailed it up before Halloween! She is such a great Grandma)!
Colby wanted to be a blue ghost and look how good his costume matched his eyes!
Here is Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. Below is a picture with her best little girl friends, Macy (who happened to be Merryweather from Sleeping Beauty and her little sister Kwynn who was Flora).

We couldn't miss Great Grandma Torrie who just moved into the Clearview Lodge down the block from us! WE get to see her at least once a week now that she isn't in Grassy Lake anymore. We love her!
