Tonight I have been appreciating how different we all are.
I love that my trials are suited for me! No one but the Lord knows me
well enough to know how I need to be humbled. I am thankful
that I have weaknesses brought to my attention and that I can
work on overcoming them.
I would hope people would be patient with me. I hope that if
you are reading this blog to keep up on our home progress you
will understand how much fasting, prayer, tears, and work have
gone into the construction of our home. This is not something
that we want to "rub in" any ones face. We want to have a place
that many can feel at home. I never dreamed that we would be
building a home and I am sorry if I have somehow offended anyone
out there. So for that reason I may have to go private and let my
blog be just what it was really intended to be and that is: MY journal.
Love you family and friends!

I love seeing the updates of your home and as far as I am concerned you deserve every square foot of that house and more. You guys are the best and make sure you have a large enough table to feed the missionaries.:) I miss you guys.
Well, if you do go private, please invite me! I love checking in on your cute family. And I agree, you should be able to write about ANYTHING you darned well please! It's YOUR blog! And if building a house is what's going on in your lives right now, of course you're going to be writing about it! It's an all-consuming, fun, BIG project!

Wow, sorry you got a negative comment! It's fun to see the progress on your house. We're excited to come stay with you some day! :)

I love the updates. The whole home thing is exciting and the more frequent the updates the better.
I miss our times hanging out during Ricks and BYU and the blog recaptures some of that. You SHOULD however apologize for not coming out to visit though (and vice versa) :). J/K. Maybe when the home's complete we'll have to make a trip out to the frozen northlands.

I would hope that if it was us that mention something, you would email me or call me first....for some reason I feel a little guilty. If it was I'm sorry. I'm so excited for you guys and I can't wait to see the completed project of your forever home! Love you guys. can't wait until Thanks Giving!!!
Please invite me if you go private, Tonya! I love keeping in touch with you this way! And I am happy for you...afterall we share the same humble beginnings of University Village! And you guys had a 2-bedroom!! Ha! LOL There aren't many I share the bond with of low-pile industrial carpet, cinder block walls, and pea-soup green appliances! So you go, girl! And enjoy your new home with your family! I'd be excited as well if it were me! Please have us over if we are ever in Canada! :) You are a sweetie.
I am SO excited to see the finished product!!!! I wish I lived up there so I could actually see all the progress personally.
Of course... if you guys happen to know any single Albertans about my age... ;) That could aid the process of getting me closer to "home."
