Thanks for all your prayers on Brooklyn's behalf last week. The surgery went very well. She can hear SO SO SO SO much better! I can't belief the difference! She used to get frustrated with me when I would talk to her before and say, "Mom, I can't hear you you aren't looking at me"! Now she responds from the other room! What a miracle! Her breathing is improving as well. On the drive home from the hospital she was sniffing and asked, "Mom, why does it do that"? When I realized what she was talking about I told her that it is air going through your nose...it is supposed to do that! Poor thing has never been able to "breath" out her nose! She doesn't sound as nasally either.
The day of the surgery Ryan took her to the hospital in Lethbridge around 7:30. I came after dropping the boys off at school and a friends house. (Thank you for you wonderful friends who took care of my boys! I love you!) She was pretty calm until she met the anesthesiologist and when the nurse came to take her she flipped out. I had to pry her off me and them off of Ryan. By then I was crying because she was screaming, "I want to give my Mom a kiss and a hug"! It was quite the fight they said, but that screamers go to sleep faster because they are taking in big breaths of the gas. She came around quickly and we were out of the hospital in about four hours. By the time we got home she was running around outside with the boys! She is a nut, but hasn't slowed down since. She improves everyday and says she is glad she did it. Phew! I can say I am now that it is over! I have some pictures and video, but my computer is not downloading lately...
Thanks again to all of you for your prayers and calls!

Glad it went well. I had to smile when she told me at the library that she wasn't scared because she "wouldn't feel a thing." She is adorable and I am happy for the improvements! Now you can relax:)
Yay--glad everything went well!
Grayden has had tubes put in his ears twice and his adenoids out. Each time he never skipped a beat. I was kind of sad. I was hoping for a low key day, but not even once!!!!!
