Brayden was interviewed for our local paper a couple weeks ago. One of his teacher aides from kindergarten remembered that he had some interesting answers during a mothers day interview last year and she writes the column for our local paper. These are the first answers he gave to the questions. He's a fun boy.
Tell us a little about yourself...
Mmmm, I don't know. Well, I like to play soccer. I am six. I have lost seven teeth. I like to stay up late. I like to watch tv. I like to make gingerbread houses. I like to eat candy. I like to wrestle my daddy and brother (and throw him on the ground). I like to play at school, and I like Christmas. I am happy. I have only ate one 'dunk-a-roo' in my life.
If you had to move and could only take three things with you what would you take?
My favorite transformer, my favorite transformer shirt, and my Christmas stocking (so Santa could fill it up). Why would they ask that silly question?
What was your favorite room in the house you grew up in?
My bedroom.
Where did you meet your spouse?
Uh, what's that? (I explained and he giggled) Nowhere cause I haven't got one!
If someone could give you anything in the world for your birthday, what would you like it to be?
Three thousand tranformers.
What would you like to invent to make life better?
Cans of snow melting stuff.
Is there on law you would like to change?
That there would be no government. No don't write that! Maybe that there were no stop lights or stop signs.
Would you prefer to arrive at a party under-dressed or over-dressed?
What does that mean?
What did you get into the most trouble for doing when you were young?
Taking my mattress off my bed, putting it against the door and piling books and toys on it (when I was four).
Why have you chosen Taber for you home?
Just cause my dad lived here.
What is the most meaninful gift you have ever received?
To live on this earth.
What makes you cry?
When we lived in Indiana and my dad had to come here and leave us home alone.
What makes you really laugh?
Getting tickled by my dad.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
To follow the ten commandments.
What is your favorite time of the day?
Night.
What is the bravest thing you have ever done?
Jumping off the diving board in the deep end without my life jacket.
Any phobias?
Going into the basement by myself.
Can you be counted on to be on time?
Not very good at school.
What has been your biggest disappointment in life?
We haven't gone to Disney Land.
What is your most treasured memory? Possession?
Remember watching Pokeman 3? Spot-my stuffed dog.
If you could talk to anyone who has lived or is still living who would it be?
The prophets.
What are some things you crave?
Brownies.
When do you lie?
I don't know.
Do you have a favorite book? A favorite TV program? Movie?
Transformers-Return of Megatron and my book of that same movie. I have watched it about ten times.
Have you ever been afraid?
Yes.
What do you need to stop complaining about?
Food that I don't like.
What makes your grumpy?
When I stay up late and my parents wake me up early in the morning.
Do you recall anything your parents told you or taught you over and over and over again?
Don't bother your brother's and sister!
When was the last time you jumped for joy?
At our Christma concert at school.
