To My Wonderful Friends!

So yesterday was a monumental day in my life...

drum roll please....

I turned ...

And do you know what? It feels sooooooo good to be out of my 20's! For some reason that sounds really weird, but before yesterday I honestly didn't know what I thought about entering a new decade. ..BUT I feel so grown-up...finally!

Sunday we went out to Mom and Dad's in Grassy to welcome Whitney home from University. Dave and Tami, Luke and Becky, Spence and Jenn, and Great Grandma were there. Tami was very sweet and made me a chocolate sheet cake-very yummy! I received birthday wishes then!

And Monday-I have a fabulous husband who surprised me (well, he knew better than waiting until 6pm so he told me at lunch) with a SMALL get together at our house at 7pm. I was overwhelmed with the age difference of my friends raging from my sweet children, to my Primary 5th graders, my wonderful, fabulous, amazing, almost 30 and 30 year old friends, and 20, 40 and almost 50 year old friends! It was the greatest birthday ever! I am so blessed and so happy to have been alive this short while. I am so thankful to my lovely parents who have put up with me and supported me through every stage of my life. More than anything I am so thankful to a Father in Heaven who has given my the opportunity to experience so much on this earth! Life is wonderful and I am excited for the upcoming years. Thanks to you all who made my day VERY special!!! Love you tons! To top birthday events off my great friend, Connie, was willing to take Tyson and Brayden so we could enjoy a temple trip today! She has to be the most generous person I know! I won't ever be able to pay her back for all the times she has served me. Love you tons!

Happy happy birthday to me!

Tonya, happy birthday! And guess what? It was my birthday on Monday, too!!! And I also entered the same decade! Did we know that we shared the same birthday? I don't think so! 30 feels great, doesn't it? Yes, it does! I'm glad you had a great day! Say hi to Ryan for us!

Happy Birthday Sis Torrie. 30 is very special. I realized that (I don't to make you sound old) you are twice as old as I am. I'm 15 and you are 30. Although different days. But I can't wait to see you guys in 8 weeks.

Happy 30th, a little late! My sister turned 24 that same day! I am glad you said it feels great to be 30 because I'll be there in September and I am sooo dreading it! You've helped me see it in a better light! I am glad Ryan arranged a little shindig for ya!! You deserve it! :) --Amanda

From Linley: Hi Tonya!--we love your blog. You are so amazing. I can't believe how much you've accomplished in only 30 years. You're a great Mom. :)
