Kali, Tyson, and Brayden spent a good amount of time on Victoria day collection shells by the river. We have a large box full sitting in our garage.
Tyson and Brayden were basically soaked the entire day. They played with water guns up at the house, and were delighted that they had an endless supply of water at the river.
Ryan thought it would be fun to have the kids cross the river. He took Whitney (no that's not me) to help him with the boys. I think they are standing in the deepest part there. Ryan stunk so bad after! I say that with love because the guy doesn't EVER stink even after a good basketball workout!!
Oh, mud mud! We love you! Ryan and I were working on the deck and had to cut out a piece of grass to put some stones down at the bottom of the stairs. In a matter of an hour of Ryan going to the ER Brayden and Tyson had created a mud bath that actually looked pretty fun to me! I remember doing the same thing as a kid! Fun times! I think Brayden thought I would be upset because he cried when I said, "what will your dad say"? The rain has pretty much cleaned up the worry!
I only had to wash the white shirt three times to make it white again! Thank you oxi!

Colby finger painting, but not really into it like Tyse and Brook. He figured one finger and a couple lines was messy enough for him!

Quick side note: I am in my room with Brooklyn and Colby playing behind me. Brooklyn just dropped a board on her foot and is crying for Brayden. How cute is that? She is saying, "I just want a hug"!

Colby had a blast getting all wet this day. He is truly a water fighter like his Grandpa Jepsen and myself. Except, now days I am the one who is the designated dryer and saves those who get tired of getting too wet! I can't remember what Colby said during this picture, but I am pretty sure he was teasing Brooklyn by taking her resting chair.
The kids just love Ryan. I am amazed at the wonderful dad he is. As soon as he walks inside the door the kids are all over him. Sometimes I just sit back at sigh thinking about how lucky and blessed I am!

Sunday we had a couple who moved out of our ward last year over for supper. They brought this yummy chocolate ice cream cake that Brooklyn obviously enjoyed too much!

A big thanks to my friend Katie for giving me the heads up on this cute princess bike for Brooklyn! Early on this month Brooklyn decided she wanted to ride a squeaky old red trike we inherited from an older couple in our ward. At first she could hardly go down the driveway on it. I would push her, but she insisted on figuring it out. After a week she could peddle down the driveway, then she quickly progressed to pedaling up and then down the sidewalk. And about two weeks ago she was able to keep up to me waling Brayden the block to school! Katie noticed this bike at Wal-Mart for 30 bucks! I ran and picked it up thinking I would hold onto it until her birthday, but Ryan was too excited for her. And I am really glad he put it together. She loves to ride with us as a family. Colby doesn't have a bike yet, but we are trying to decide who to upgrade and how to pass the other bikes on. So, Colby rides on the back of Ryan's and the rest of us are on our own! It is amazing to see how much we have all grown up and progressed in almost three years since Brook and Colby were born! I am really enjoying this stage of our lives!
So first thing to point out are my beautiful roses that Ryan bought me for my birthday! They were in blossom for until Mother's Day. The day after I decided I had better dry them because they were still looking so full.

Anyway, the above picture is Brayden with is friend Walker, our next door neighbor Jordan, and the other boys getting ready to race his remote control car. Brayden seems so grown up to me.
P.S. Do you like our new door? The old one was solid wood with weird designs on it. Now I have light through the windows! Stucco should be coming next week if the rain slows down.

If you guessed that it is her blessing dress you are very correct! I was transferring clothes from closets the other day and she saw it. When I pulled it out she said, "I want to wear it". I really didn't think it would fit, but it was perfect! It just touched about 1/4 above the ground without shoes on. She has worn it to church twice and insists she needs new white and pink shoes to match it!
