We love you, Ryan!

I want to dedicate this entry to my fabulous husband! I can't express in just a few words how absolutely amazing this man is. Ryan loves these kids and always shows them this. The second he comes home from work all four are jumping into his arms for hugs. They can hardly say good-bye without four or five good-bye hugs and kisses each day. Ryan is so good at taking them out on individual dates, wrestling, telling stories, and yes-disciplining when needed! What's amazing about his disciplining is that he always shows that increased love afterwards that is so essential to the trusting parent/child relationship! I learn from him every day.

Here are a few pictures of moments of Ryan with the kiddos.

Love you sweets!

Hopefully no one is offended by this underwear war post, but it
something that my kids think is hilarious! It is all to show that Ryan
can be crazy and have fun with the kids.

Tyson and Brayden got a little out of hand when they were "fighting" with
Ryan and he just wanted to snuggle with Ryan. They were listening
to loud music and dancing around. I should have gotten a video
because the boys future wives would love to see this!
Ryan is a great support to the kids with their music and schooling.
Brayden had a great recital and played "Thanksgiving Turkey". Every
now and then he lets the boys play his clarinet, saxaphone, or guitar. We
have quite a variety of musical instruments going at one time...But Ryan
wants to expose the kids to a number of things to see what they are interested in.
I am so lucky to have him!
During lunch break a few weeks ago I had the kids out on the slip 'n slide.
They were having a ton of fun and Ryan took lots of pictures. He loves
to see the kids laugh. Colby was hilarious and thought it was
great that Ryan wanted to see him slide! Ryan has a way of making
the kids feel important!

This old house...may be our next purchase! No, not to live in, but to invest in. The real estate market here is great and one of Ryan's hobbies is investing soooooo why not have another project soon? Seriously though, Ryan is great about keeping himself just busy enough, but not so much that we don't know we are number one in his life. He is always thinking about the future and preparing to take care of our needs when we are "older"...HA
Can you see the proud look on this man's face? Ryan read these two to sleep the other night. They love to be on his lap while he reads to them. We are so lucky to have a dad that ALWAYS helps with the bedtime routine. There is no way that I could do this without him! Well, I actually do, but still! I am very lucky that he is willing to help me out.
Here is Ryan's little princess! I always wondered why people called their daughters princesses until we had Brooklyn! She was born to be in pink and dressed up! It is crazy to see how different the boys are compared to her! On this day Brooklyn came in (and she does almost every day) to show Ryan her pretty hair. But he took the time to have her pose for some pictures and he kept telling her how beautiful she was. I think that is so great for her self-esteem!
Here is another picture of Brooklyn in her blessing dress. She didn't see Ryan while she was leaning against the truck watching the boys run on the grass!
I love having this girl! We are so blessed and it is all because of Ryan! Happy Father's Day, love!
