HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU

BRAYDEN IS 8

I know that some day I need to take a cake decorating class...but really my children love the cakes that we come up with. So for now I will stick with my limited knowledge and make up the cakes as they tell me what they want. This is some kind of battle ground volcanic island. Brayden has some little toys on there, but I have no idea what they are called. They roll up into a tiny ball. Anyway, he liked it and the other kids thought it was "cool". Not too bad for fixing it up 20 minutes before the party guests arrived. Oh, and we used brownies instead of cake! Much tastier in my opinion!

Aunt Whitney came to help me wrestle with Braydens' 10 guests (there could have been 14)!
Anyway, we played a few games; balloon pop race, pass the animal, and look for the hidden gifts. Then they played a game with the gifts and whatever they ended up with they took home. With 20 minutes left of the party we had ice cream and brownies! The kids were a lot of fun. I really enjoyed getting to know Brayden's school mates better. What a fun age!

Brayden's friend since the day we moved here! Halle Holladay really knows him well. He loves his Pokeman game she gave him.

Here is just another shot of the group. Brooklyn and Colby were at the party, but Tyson played at a friends house. He would have felt bad to not be the center of Brayden's attention.

After the party we started to demolish my kitchen. That is another post!
