Baptism Day

A speical day for our Brayden!
February 28, 2009
When we asked Brayden why he wanted to be baptized he said,
"To be like Jesus" and "Because I already prayed about it
and got the answer that that is what I should do". He melts my heart!

Brayden had lots of family and friends to support him in this decision. His Uncle Stan gave a wonderful talk on baptism and his Uncle Dave gave a beautiful talk on the Holy Ghost. Thanks so much! There was a very sweet spirit in the meeting. The primary age kids sang, "The Family Is of God" for the special musical number. It was very precious!

This is Brayden with his Great-Grandma Torrie. She is such a great support to us and example of righteous living. Brayden shares her husband's, Great Grandpa Torrie, birthday.

Grandma and Grandpa are the greatest! We will miss them while they are on their mission in Nauvoo for 18 months! They love our kiddos so much! Brooklyn asks every day when we are going to visit them in Nauvoo. July...

Here is Brayden with his good friend Taylor Lee. They are good boys! Can you image when they are 16! Ah!

This was a special day for our family! Thanks for all of your support. My parents had planned to come and then things didn't work out at the last minute. They were great and each emailed Brayden a letter that I am sure will be kept forever. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and Mom for the suit (I keep forgetting to take a picture on Sunday).

Wow! I can't believe Brayden was baptized! It seems like yesterday that you were emailing me a newborn photo of him in a U of U Hospital onesie!! I still remember you saying, "Just get an epidural and enjoy the birthing process..." to help me get the courage to ebentually do it myself! Whew! Congratulations, Momma! You must be doing a great job! What a great day for you all!
