WE ARE...

building a new home!

The plans have been in the works since last spring! We have owned the land for over a year. BUT the time has finally arrived and it looks like we will break ground
in the next two weeks. Exciting, scary, crazy, and who knows what else runs through my mind.

Here is a peak at what our view will be. We have ten acres to COMPLETELY develop! Gas, water, electricity-you name it we have to get it there. Ryan has been doing all the sub-contracting work and has been AMAZING so now everything is basically ready to go. By the time we are finished we are hoping to have a barn with a few cows, chickens, PIGS???,
a little field and some horses.
Last weekend we went to Billings, Montana to pick up the vinyl fence that will border our land.

So here are the promised pics...very sorry to all of you who were hoping that I was going to become a celebrity by bringing a FEW more kiddos into the world at once!
Here is the view I will see out my kitchen window and the sitting room. Don't worry we will be planting new trees...ha!

Here is the view out of the bedrooms.

THE CLEANUP!

Our land is at the end of an old highway and people thought it was okay to drop their garbage off there. We had to do some major clean up and we still have more to go. Historically it has been the place to "party" so we have had to deal with some teenagers and people who like to ride quads and motorcycles through our land. We built a fence last fall and it has been cut a few times by people to access the town land to ride around in (which is illegal). We bought the land from the town who actually bought it from Ryan's ex-girlfriend's father...hmmm. HA! Anyway, it is in a great location only one mile from the hospital. But we feel like we are out in the country. No one will be able to build around us because the land that you see in the pictures is zoned as wildlife preserve. I do like neighbors, but I like fresh air and space too.

Let it begin...

Hmmm a little bit of deer leg anyone?? Look close she does have on gloves.

Last load of the day. We went back a few weeks later to find someone had dumped their household garbage down our road. Nice! The sooner we get our fence up the better.

I will keep you updated with the fun!

hm..... 10 acres, and we live on .18, that's not a very big piece of land you own there! Nope not at all ;) when you get horses we'll have to come up and ride, I need to get Diego used to horses again! :) and not to worry about becoming a celeb with bringing more kids intothe world..... It'll happen ;)
