Matt Odland (Angie's son), Kamaron and his daughter Darby, Angie, me, Brayden and Ryan)
One Sunday, back before Christmas, Ryan and I noticed a new couple sitting at the back of the chapel. I was surprised to see a guy who looked just like someone from my tiny home town. Ryan recognized the woman as one of his patients. After the meeting we got together and sure enough Kamaron Hampton from old Franklin, Idaho was moving into our little ward in Taber, Canada. Crazy! Anyway, he and Angie were just engaged and she started taking the missionary discussions shortly after their wedding in May. Angie has been very strong in the Catholic church, but after her divorce her priest wouldn't allow her to participate in many things. He also refused to marry her and Kamaron in her church. There were a few things she said she didn't understand about the Catholic church, but always felt religion was very important. She approached her priest with many questions and mainly wanted to know what was so different about the "Mormon" church and the Catholic. He was quite angry with her and frustrated that she wanted answers. He said that we were just going about it the wrong way. Angie had lots of questions for me and long before she decided to be baptized said she had never felt the Holy Spirit so strong as in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Angie is amazing! She truly put her faith in the Lord and allowed the Holy Ghost to teach her the truths of the restored gospel and of the priesthood power on the earth today. She is a great example to me and has increased my faith in the religion I have always known! Love you, Angie!

Hm looks like Ryan needs to leave his watch off while working on the house :)
Super cool! You're a great example for the rest of us! One day we'll help someone like that! Keep up the great work. Oh and thanks for dropping by last time you were in town. We had a blast.
