and today (of all days being Friday the 13th) it is officially:
SOLD!
When we told our kids they were like, "oh, I really miss that house" or "when are we moving out of this one" and silly comments about who gets our new house when I croak! Nice conversation!!
Anyway, Heavenly Father works in mysterious ways. Last summer when it was on the market I was running between two houses, taking care of the lawn there, trying to get this yard a bit established and it was about killing me. I really didn't want to rent, but when this couple came into church one year ago and looking for a place to live I had the thought, "That's who is going to buy our house".
I didn't know they were the same couple who had previously approached Ryan about renting it and after talking it over with me ( I absolutely refused) we told them we would rather just sell it. So when I realized they were the same people I lost hope and they went on to look at more houses. They soon came back to us though asking to rent it and within a few minutes we had made a verbal agreement. Anyway, it has been the greatest blessing to have them in our "old" ward and in our town. Jamie is a fabulous housekeeper and I never once worried about what they were doing to our house. They always treated it as their own and I am so happy for them. They have become good friends and I am, glad for both of us couples, that this worked out.
So goodbye -for real- to the town life and welcome to getting a new yard established!
